How do you describe the perfect mix of old-school hardcore, punk, and ska? Ninety 9 Cents. These five guys got together in Orange County, NY (the other Orange County), Mark (vocals), Mike (guitar), Max (guitar), Bill (bass), and Justin (drums). Formed in 1994, Ninety 9 Cents has been banging out their intense music throughout the tri-state area, leaving their impact wherever they play. Having already completed several tours of the east coast, Ninety 9 Cents is ready to head out west for a full US tour.

ABC No Rio, CBGB’s, The Chance, The Avalon, The Tune Inn, Maxwell’s, Coney Island High, Bogie’s, Pearl Street, Valentine’s, and 7 Willow Street, are just some of the clubs that have featured Ninety 9 Cents . Keeping in tradition, they’ve played numerous DIY shows in VFW halls, firehouses, basements, and keg parties. Having played with such diverse national acts as The Misfits, Earth Crisis, Ignite, Murphy’s Law, Less Than Jake, All Out War, VOD, Guttermouth, 25 Ta Life, Candiria, Big Wig, H2O, GWAR, Mephiskapheles, Madball, Blanks 77, Irate, Inspector 7, The Urge, Indecision, and even the occassional metal band.

This has given Ninety 9 Cents a diverse base which brings out their legions of fans (400+ at recent shows they have headlined.) The guys have released two 7” records on their own, and recently released the debut, full-length CD on Rhythm Den Records the up and coming label from Orange County.
